Criteria

After much deliberation, I began to look for a common thread between the first five criteria and the adjectives given. I could write about how the words are represented in the painting, but decided that the viewer should investigate and make that connection. This would be the "mystery" ... the piece is loosely based on "history". The end result (be it a little quirky), “History Mystery” Most days, you can find Audrey Lute working in her home studio near St. Martin Manitoba. Her art practice is primarily acrylic and oils; however, she frequently explores other mediums. Audrey allows herself the freedom to imagine fantasy worlds of equality, peace, tolerance and understanding. Her paintings depict a vision of idealistic communities, representing how life could be. She is inspired by a positive response to the negative trends in today's world, Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Manitoba.
