This interesting project was “mind boggling”. Ideas came to mind, but not one seemed to fit the criteria, finally I settled on the idea of life as paths, thus evolved this piece “The Journey of Life”. I used most of the guidelines but not all of them. The following quote is my text, and the paper, lines and colour express the idea. “People’s lives, as is my experience, are like lines that often intersect, or run parallel, coming from somewhere, going somewhere. Sometimes unaware as if transparent, the relationships sometimes loud, graphic or even mundane, ordinary, poetic, or stay parallel, never intersect but go into infinity.” - Quote by Linda Anne Johnson - April 2015 The colour blue is the universe; the painted folds represent people’s paths, the colour red a person(s) life and the colour yellow, the strong influences that impact on a person’s life. The handmade paper with folds alludes to our paths in life, our journey, made by us, and like paper, fragile and full of interest.
