Tags: birds, music, laughter, poetry, the natural world, animals, families, friends, art……. The theme behind this painting is living life to the fullest, and connecting with the people and the world around you. Each of us does this in our own way, taking our particular journey with its ups and downs. The two poems are a little pathway to these ideas. Please come in and read the poems. I am using bits of Art to celebrate that. And our time is finite. There is so much beauty in the natural world. So much joy in a child’s happy face, I treasure those moments. Love is a natural extension of this experience, I hope. I find making ‘Art’ exciting! So exciting, that it is hard to finish, and there are so many possibilities that I can’t focus. Interesting, since I was a Special Education Resource Teacher for over 30 years. I am a wife, mother, and Bubby. I work in clay; throwing pots, and sculpting. I build people, masks, sheep and birds. Many of the sheep and birds are finished in a Raku Firing. I have painted, in watercolor and acrylic. I have studied and worked with many generous artists. My work is sold and now lives all over the world. Contact Information: [email protected] |
