This digital work explores dark issues currently plaguing mankind such as pollution, waste, war, population growth, energy consumption, global warming and how we are negatively impacting the very environment on which we depend. As part of my Ingeneraré Series the work merges anthropology, engineering and science offering hope by creating a solution based dialogue about how we can make responsible, renewable, clean choices for future generations. Ontario born, Lori is a graduate of Red River College’s Structural Engineering Technology Program and works in the field of residential construction. In 2007 she began her art education under the guidance of mentor Milos Milidrag and in 2011 was selected to participate in the Manitoba Arts Network Rural Art Mentorship Program. Lori is currently working part-time on a BFA at the University of Manitoba’s School of Art. Contact Information [email protected] www.zebiereart.com |
